I grew up speaking both English and Spanish, and I have a very strong grammar foundation in both languages. I hold a BA in English and Spanish and a MA in Spanish literature. > Relevant Translation Experience: 5 years. I grew up in Argentina, the second largest Latin American Spanish speaking country, and I lived minutes away from the US-Mexico border in south Texas for 13 years, a mainly Spanish speaking area. I have been around and made friends with people of many Latin American countries, enough to learn a wealth of information about their way of life, and I am particularly familiar with the traditions, values, and culture of Argentina and northern Mexico. I have many years of experience doing work that involves a deep understanding of the production of written and spoken language in English and Spanish in parallel. I have taught English to recent immigrant students in a bilingual classroom, I have also taught English writing to limited English proficiency college students. I have taught Spanish to high school students, and I am currently teaching Spanish at Front Range Community College.
